WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE A CHILD CAN START AT DELTA GYMNASTICS?

6 months old in our Baby Gym class.

WHEN DO I REGISTER? 

Registration for fall, winter and spring sessions begins in July. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration dates for our summer programs will be posted on our website in the spring.

If you wish to join a program after it has started, please call our office to see if we can accommodate you. If you sign up after the session has started, your fees will be pro-rated.

Our Team, High School, Gymnaestrada, Advanced and Competitive programs all start in the summer or fall and run from 10 to 12 months. Please see individual program descriptions to find out more.

WHAT IS THE MEMBERSHIP FEE? 

For the safety and security of yourself, your child and everyone at our facility, ALL program participants must purchase a Delta Gymnastics membership, which includes insurance. Membership is effective from September 1 to August 31 and the annual fee is $42.

WHAT IF I CAN'T AFFORD THE PROGRAMS?

KidSport Delta can assist with fees up to $250 per fiscal year. Applications are available at the KidSport Delta website. Complete the application form and bring a copy to the office and we can use that for payment or partial payment of your fees.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE GYM?

All athletes go barefoot in the gym. Please tie back long hair and do not wear jewelry. Do not bring valuables to the gym.

Females:  A bodysuit, tights or athletic shorts (no buttons) and a fitted t-shirt.
Males: Gym shorts with no buttons, zippers, buckles or pockets and a fitted, tucked in t-shirt.

Please address your questions about payment, registration and class times to our office staff and they’ll be happy to help you! Coaches are not able to readily access the data needed to answer your questions.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A CLASS, CAMP, BIRTHDAY PARTY OR NIGHT OUT?

You can register online, in person, or by phone.

To register online: Click on the class title in the program description, or on the Register tab, to go to our Sign Up schedule.
Most classes run in sessions: fall, winter, spring and summer.  Some run in shorter time periods. Click on the session you want, and then the class. You will be directed to a Log In page.
Log in with your email and password. If you forget your password, please call us.
If you are new to DGS, please create a profile and log in.
The class you selected should appear on your My Account page. Proceed to Check Out.
Payment must be made when you register. (In cases of financial hardship, a payment plan can be arranged. Please contact the office.)

Online payment: VISA and Mastercard.

In-person payment: VISA, Mastercard, debit, cheque or cash.

Note: If you are new to DGS, you must sign our membership waiver form when you register. This can be done online or in person.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM WAITLISTED FOR A PROGRAM?

If you are waitlisted for a class, we will contact you if a space becomes available.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR AN ADVANCED OR COMPETITIVE PROGRAM?

Please contact our office for more information. Participation in these programs is by assessment or invitation, with the exception of the High School program, which is open to both beginner and advanced gymnasts.

HOW DO GYMNASTS JOIN THE ADVANCED OR COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS?

Entry into our Advanced and Competitive programs is by invitation or assessment only (with the exception of the High School program, which is open to beginner and advanced gymnasts). Our coaches hold assessment sessions in the spring and summer.  Participation in an assessment session is subject to a fee and does not guarantee a spot in the program. Please contact the office to find out when the next assessment camp is scheduled.

DO YOU RUN PROGRAMS DURING THE SUMMER? 

Yes, we are a year-round facility and we offer classes, clinics and camps every month of the year.

DO I HAVE TO STAY TO WATCH MY CHILD?

No, unless your child is not able to use the restroom by themselves. When registering, make sure you include your cell phone number on your file so we can contact you in the event of an emergency.

DO YOU GIVE PROGRESS REPORTS?

Most of our Developmental programs do a progress report at the end of their session with the exception of specialty and adult classes,  sport cross-training, and the High School programs. With all programs, if you have questions about your child’s progress, please talk to their coach.
