WAG Schedule of Events

Listed are the upcoming events for WAG.

Saturday, October, 19 — T.A.G. Challenge (formerly Sports Showdown) 5:00pm-7:30pm

Thursday, October 31 — Halloween—All WAG training will end at 6:00pm to allow for parties, social events, etc.

Monday, November 11 — Judges' Cup preparatory Mock Meet at DGS. JO2+. Important for those trying for BC Winter Games or EC Screening. 12:30pm onward.

Sunday, November 24 — Last day to place a Poinsettia order until 5:00pm. Profits from this Fundraiser go to keeping costs of the Idaho trip to Great West GymFest more affordable for everyone.

Tuesday November 26 — Last day to place a Meat or Pizza order. Profits for this fundraiser go to keeping costs of to Hawaii(Meat) and Montreal(Pizza) more affordable for everyone.

Thursday, December 5 — Poinsettia delivery to Delta Gymnastics at 1:00pm

December 6-8 — Zone 3, 4, and 5 trials to BC Winter Games and Langley Invitational for JO2-10 Mandatory for everyone who wants to try to make their zone team to attend BC Winter Games. This applies to JO7 & 8 athletes. There will be no regular training at DGS on Saturday or Sunday, December 7 & 8 due to this competition.

Tuesday, December 10 — Pick up for all Pizza and Meat orders at Delta Gymnastics—exact time TBA

Friday, December 20 — Last day of regular training schedule before the holiday break

Monday, January 6 — Regular training schedule resumes

January 24-26, 2020 — WinterFest at Club Aviva for JO2-10

Tuesday, January 28 — Team Photo Day for all WAG and MAG competitive athletes.  
We will be doing the group shot at 4:00pm so if you don't normally train at this time please come from 3:45pm-4:30pm.  Photos will be taken in your competitive suit (no track suit required for this). Training from 1:00pm-5:00pm as an extra to be included here may be a possibility. Ask Jen if you are interested in that instead of just coming for the photo.

February 6-9, 2020 — Elite Canada in Calgary (National Novice, Junior and Senior only)

February 14-17, 2020 — Charity Choice in Tacoma JO3-10

February 20-23, 2020 — BC Winter Games in Fort St. John, BC. This is for the top 3 JO7&8 age eligible athletes who qualify for the zone team.

February 20-23, 2020 — Great West GymFest in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. JO3-JO10. Team travel on the bus is an option for athletes
and parents. *for those eligible to try out for BCWG (JO7-8) that is PRIORITY however, you can register for GWGF as a back-up since BC Winter Games requires qualification.

March 5-8, 2020 — Gymnix International Invitational in Montreal, Quebec. Aspire and JO7+ levels invited.

March 15, 2020 — Spring Fever Invitational hosted at Delta Gymnastics for JO2-7

March 14-15, 2020 — Twisters Invitational in Abbotsford. This is trials to Western Canadian Championships for JO8-10 and
Aspire 1 & 2

April 3-5, 2020 — Optional Levels BC Championships for JO6-10 at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex

April 24-26, 2020 — Compulsory Levels BC Championships for JO2-5 at the Langley Events Centre

April 30-May 3, 2020 — Delta Invitational and Western Canadian Championships hosted by DGS at the Richmond Oval

May 15-17, 2020 — Garden City Invitational in Victoria for JO2-8

May 19-24, 2020 — Canadian Championships in Gatineau, QC by qualification to Team BC at BC Champs. JO9 born in 2007 or younger and all ages of JO10 plus High Performance athletes are eligible to try out.

Thursday, June 11, 2020 — Competitive Awards Night 6:00-7:30pm at the Ladner Community Center

June 19-21, 2020 — Whistler Summer Classic in Whistler for JO2-7

January, 2021 — Hawaii trip to Gymnastics in Paradise and Aloha GymFest Both Competitions are on Oahu. Both competitions are recommended but it is possible just to attend one
