Gymnastics isn’t just for kids. It’s a lifelong way to stay strong, flexible and have fun – just ask our gym full of adults who come out to learn gymnastics for the first time, practice old skills, or turn their acrobatic skills into tricks, stunts and parkour moves!

Whether you join a class because you never had a chance to try gymnastics as a kid, or because you want to get in shape, rest assured that the atmosphere during Adult Gym is warm and welcoming with lots of laughter and teamwork – no matter what your level. We are never too old to increase our physical literacy.

Never had a chance to try gymnastics as a kid? Want to revive some old skills or get in shape? This class will build your gymnastic ability in a safe, progressive way, teaching you how to land properly, balance and support yourself, and increase your strength. You’ll get to try out all the equipment and by the end of the session you could be turning cartwheels like a pro! Join with a friend, or make it a date night!

Who is this class for? Anyone who has a secret desire to bounce on a trampoline again: beginners with no experience, former gymnasts with rusty skills, and anyone who wants to get in shape, improve their balance, flexibility and coordination.
Class info: 1.5 hours, once a week.

Since taking up residence in Tsawwassen 20 years ago, Gord and his family have had a strong connection with both the community as well as Delta Gymnastics, being active members and sponsors in numerous youth programs and events.

Raised on the eastern Canada, Gord has been involved in business and athletics from an early age. Upon graduation from McMaster University he went on to become one of the founders of Auto Fleet Services, considered a Canadian pioneer in fleet vehicle disposal. In 1988 the Auto Fleet model assisted in the creation of vehicle “Marketing Centers” and became a first of many located throughout major Canadian cities.

During non-business hours, his love for athletics leads him to continually share his passion with the youth of the community as a football coach and contributions to various organizations.

Gord contributes both business skills and leadership experience to the board. He is enthusiastic about the importance of volunteering and is committed to ensuring South Delta Gymnastics Society remains a strong and stable youth program in our community. Drawing on knowledge acquired through business and coaching, he strives to make the experience as meaningful and memorable
as possible.

Alli lives in Ladner with her husband and their two young boys. She has a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation, and specializes in financial analysis and strategy. After 16 years in the corporate world (previously working for MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates and before that Molson), she has recently taken a hiatus to head up the finance department for her family’s business in the marine industry. This has allowed her the flexibility of working from home some days and getting to spend more time with her young family. This flexibility is especially nice, as she will have both her boys in parent and tot gymnastics at the same time in September! When Alli is not working she can often be found pushing a double stroller all around Ladner, enjoying the community, and visiting the local shops and parks.

Delta Gymnastics Society is located in Ladner, British Columbia - 20 minutes south of Vancouver. In 2025, Delta Gymnastics celebrated its 50th anniversary of promoting and supporting movement, exercise, and physical literacy in Delta and across the Lower Mainland.

We are happy to welcome international students into our programs, providing that there is space available. Our sessions run seasonally (Fall - Sept-Dec, Winter - Jan-Mar, Spring - Apr-June, Summer - July-Aug), and we would prefer to start new students at the beginning of a new session. Blackout dates: February 1-March 31, due to competition season.

Cost will be dependent on the number of days and hours each student trains. If you know you are (or your child is) coming to Delta for school, please plan ahead and contact us as soon as possible.
